History of the List of 36 World Canonical Texts

This list has been compiled many times in many different forms. The closest version to this was created in mid-2010, first posted on the Chinese-language forum www.pkucn.com in this thread: http://www.pkucn.com/viewthread.php?tid=256853&extra=&page=1. Inevitably, some of the list elements have been modified in this current version written in English.
